Advanced Module Diagnostics is not a replacement for your O&M contract, it strengthens it.
Analyze the health of your solar asset, starting with modules.
Monitoring uptime and rapid fault response.
Performance deviation detection.
Resolving failures and routine inspections to restore system operation.
Advanced Module Diagnostics is not a replacement for your O&M contract, it strengthens it. While traditional O&M focuses on inverter health, uptime and availability, AMD analyses the true condition of your solar modules. Through thermal inspection, electroluminescence and IV-curve testing, we detect hidden degradation and internal damage that monitoring systems cannot reveal. This deeper insight enables performance optimisation, targeted maintenance planning and well-informed decisions for refinancing or asset sale.
Thermographic drone scan High-resolution drone inspection reveals hotspots, string failures, and anomalies quickly and safely.
In-Situ Electroluminescence Night EL testing exposes microcracks, inactive cells, and hidden module defects efficiently.
Demount IV-Curve & EL Testing On-site IV-curve and EL measurements verify performance and analyze degradation for warranty decisions.
Full AMD Scan Combined thermal, EL, and IV testing ensures clear insights and long-term asset protection.
"Our O&M partner ensured everything looked fine, but AMD revealed hidden microcracks and underperforming strings. Now we can target the root causes directly, recover lost generation, and protect our solar investment, insights we simply couldn’t get from routine inspections."
A yearly AMD analysis gives you a clear, precise view of your solar system’s health. By combining thermal imaging, in-situ EL, and IV-curve testing, it identifies hidden defects, underperforming modules, and early degradation, empowering you to act before small issues become costly losses.
Thermographic drone inspections require clear, sunny conditions with minimal wind to ensure accurate readings. Panels must be active and under electrical load, ideally inspected around midday for maximum temperature contrast. Avoiding shading, moisture, and debris ensures reliable data, enabling precise detection of hotspots and performance issues across the entire solar installation.
We can test around 20MW per day, depending on the conditions.
You get an online or PDF report with an overview of the thermographic inspection of the park and detailed showing of all the anomalies found.
